Tratamiento paso a paso de los problemas psicológicos en adultos

It is estimated that one in four adults in Spain has or will have a mental health problem in the future. Addressing the psychological problems and disorders of the population is a challenge for our society. Psychological intervention in this area requires professionals with mastery of psychological evaluation and treatment techniques that have the best scientific evidence. This work combines research and clinical practice. On the one hand, the psychopathology, evaluation and psychological treatment of each problem or disorder is described in detail from the scientific rigor of the research; on the other hand, the process of evaluation and treatment of a clinical case is exposed in a didactic and step-by-step manner, following the scientific method in the intervention. Throughout twenty-four chapters, with more than forty experts from the academic and applied field, psychological problems are addressed that, due to their frequency or their novel treatment, contribute to the training of students and the updating of professionals. This work is a guide for the therapist in training or professional who wants to know, from a scientific and rigorous approach, the process of evaluation and treatment of psychological problems.
