Tratado de (h)ortografía
Irurzun, Patxi
The protagonist of this newspaper is an old rocker. A former Basque Radikal Rock star who has lost all its brilliance. The singer of a group called Los Tampones, whose most popular song was titled We are against the rules and who starred in a famous national scandal when they appeared playing it in a well-known television program. But that was before, a long time ago, in the turbulent 80s. Now, our antihero survives the precariousness working in a small library and writing, without penalty or glory, "literary novels" and columns in a local newspaper. And he also survives, and above all, the complicated adolescence of his two twin children -Silvio and Janis- and the recent loss of his partner and mother of both. The only way to overcome mourning and apathy will be to join a group of orthographic guerrillas that is dedicated to correcting the signs and posters of Jamerdana, his city; and the only way for his children to stop seeing him as a Martian, and vice versa, will be by gathering Los Tampones for an exceptional and beneficial concert in favor of the twins' institute, which falls apart.
