Traiciones de la memoria

Under this premise are written the three texts -a hybrid of short story, essay and autobiography- that make up Betrayals of memory. After reading it, we are left with a strange feeling that what was and what will come is never completely complete, except in the words that try to capture it. The first of them is the meticulous and precise reconstruction of the origin of a sonnet found in the pocket of a dead man. The second tells of the adventures and misadventures of a Colombian exile in Turin. The latter tries to inquire not into what we have effectively become, but rather into what we could have become if at some point in life we had taken another path.
