Todos los futuros perdidos
conversaciones sobre el final de ETA
Madina, Eduardo
Sémper, Borja
This book begins with the memory of a happy day, on October 20, 2011, in which the terrorist group ETA announced its definitive cessation. Ten years after that historical date, a centennial farmhouse in Aretxabaleta, near Mondragón, hosted this exciting conversation about one of the darkest episodes of our recent past. Eduardo Madina and Borja Sémper chose a symbolic crossroads in the heart of the Basque Country because theirs is a story of parallel lives with many points of connection. Born in Bilbao and Irun just a few hours apart, their commitment made them targets of violence from a very young age. Both lived through the hardest years of terrorism on the front line and from different political formations. They never considered quitting, despite the cost to their lives.
