Clarice Lispector lived abroad for almost two decades and maintained a long and fruitful correspondence with her professional and family circles. Despite stating that she "did not know how to write letters", these are actually as fascinating and creative an adventure as her dazzling novels, short stories and chronicles, since Lispector also displays her unerring inspiration, humor and her lyricism. Todas las cartas, which brings together the correspondence written by the Brazilian author throughout her life, constitutes a fundamental corpus for understanding her personal and literary trajectory. The material, organized by decade -from 1940 to 1970-, is accompanied by notes that contextualize it in terms of time and place, which also include substantial cultural references.
