Temores crecientes
Finalista del Premio Minotauro 2020
Dos, Manuel
In 1840, Edgar Allan Poe published "The Man of the Crowd", one of his most intriguing stories, a hallucinated tour of Victorian London in the footsteps of an enigmatic figure who walks the streets tirelessly. In contemporary Barcelona, Ana and Alba are two friends about to finish high school, misfits and lovers of literature and horror movies, who will try to conjure up the mediocrity that surrounds them through the words of the master of the gothic story. Their obsession with "The Man in the Crowd" will lead them to improvise a game as innocent as it is dangerous. They're just two girls looking for some magic, but nothing can prepare them for what they're about to find.
