Te quiero, verde
una declaración de amor a la cocina vegetal tradicional
Alfaro, Angelita
The first idea that comes to mind when talking about delicacies is vegetables. They can be a stew, some asparagus, some artichokes or some Lodosa piquillo peppers, whatever, but they will almost always be vegetables. The definition of the Royal Academy dictionary tells us that vegetables are edible plants that are grown in gardens. The consumption of plant foods is as old as man and they are available to us in their many varieties every day of the year; it's just a matter of knowing how to choose them according to their season. Cucumbers, spinach, Swiss chard, cabbage, cabbage, lettuce, endive, endive, watercress, peas, snap peas, broad beans, green beans, celery, onions, shallots, spring onions, potatoes, carrots, beets, turnips, radishes, salsify, white beans, chick peas , lentils, broad beans, mushrooms, leeks, fennel... All this is very rich in all kinds of vitamins, some have them of one kind and others of another, each more interesting. That is why this orchard wealth should never be missing in our pantries and on our tables. I can assure you that in mine there is no shortage of them. So I hope that this book fulfills your illusions of being stronger, healthier and happier every day because "dance comes from the belly".
