Sombras nada más
Ramírez, Sergio
Nicaragua, 1979. Faced with the imminent fall of the dictatorship, Alirio Martinica tries to flee by sea. He was apprehended by young combatants of the Sandinista Front and brought to trial, accused of participating, directly or indirectly, in criminal actions of the Somoza regime, of whom he became private secretary, "almighty man in the shadows", until around 1976 he was kicked out of the inner circle amid confusing circumstances. Before his judges, an entire town gathered in an open-air assembly, which with their applause or silence will dictate freedom or wall, Alirio will explain the reasons why he should be forgiven. Perhaps he will say that when he was young he longed for a bloodless revolution for his country, and that as a Somoza official he hid his friend, the Sandinista commander Ignacio Corral, at home, despite the terrible risks.
