Sis dies de desembre
Sierra i Fabra, Jordi
December 1949. Lenin, the scoundrel that Miquel Mascarell found in prison in May of that year, asks him for help to get out of a mess: he has stolen a wallet from an alleged English tourist who has been killed precisely by own it. Now, the persecuted is him. What does this portfolio contain? Well one of the catalogs of the paintings that the Nazis stole before World War II and during the war. The murdered man was part of the Monuments Men -the organization that after the war was dedicated to searching for and recovering the works of art looted by the Nazis- and followed in the footsteps of a Nazi hidden in Barcelona with a precious booty for which it was worth killing. With Lenin's family at home and disturbing the peace of the family, with the breath of Commissioner Amador on his neck and with the mystery of a convoluted plot that seeps through the cobwebs of the defeated city, full of hidden characters and new murders that complicate everything, Miquel will once again face, without more weapons than his firm will, the ghosts of the past, looking as always to be faithful to his principles and to have an ethical behavior.
