Thirty-four days aboard a luxury cruise go a long way. And more so if the passage consists exclusively of singles, of people who live alone and who have no partner or commitment. Some look for light company or exotic adventure; others just want to end the loneliness and get distracted by the comareig. Rogue, revelry, partying, promiscuity... True, but you can also find honest friendship, tenderness or romance. None of this interests Jan Ducamp, a longtime divorcee disenchanted with life and resigned to his fate. Looked at, he doesn't even know what he's doing on top of this ship where chance has taken him. What he does not know, however, is that chance has even more plans for him and that he is completely determined to get him out of his indolence.
