Born in 1929, José Corredor-Matheos published his first book of poems in 1953, which would subordinate him to the generation of half a century, one of the most heterogeneous of those that emerged in the 20th century. The present edition of his essential poetry includes a selection of poems from his six books from 1975 to 2013, to which the songs, some individual poems and eight unpublished poems have been added that show us the path followed by the poet in recent years , path of deprivation, of ignorance, of emptiness, of the nothing that recomposes us.
