Jeff Lemire begins the expansion of the Black Hammer universe with this first spin off for which he has David Rubín to the drawing. Set in the world of superheroes, Sherlock Frankenstein and the Legion of Evil follows a journalist determined to find out what happened to her father: the superhero known as the Black Hammer. It seems that all the answers are in the infamous asylum for criminals in Spiral City, home to some of its most dangerous supervillains. As she approaches the truth, Lucy discovers the dark origins of some of Black Hammer's greatest enemies and how they relate to the enigma of what happened to the great hero of Spiral City.
