Sexografías

Thanks to Beelzebub for the daring hand of Gabriela Wiener and for her book, which disorients anyone who thinks they know everything about sex. [...] This book is a creature with its own whims, that knows well the way to ecstasy, that saddens and runs wild like any of us. A Wiener that stays on our chest spilling deadly questions like poison. She questions her about sex, about her strategy to survive, renew herself and ensure her perpetuity. How far we can go to feel something, how low, how high and where our pleasure takes refuge. Despite being written over the past two decades, Sexographies made me think about how necessary sex is to our culture. Whether we have it or not, whether we want it or not. [...] What if I got horny reading Sexographs? Yes. Reading newspaper reports? Yes. [...] This book asks for no pity, but it demands that we as readers not mistreat our bodies. If the writer thus sells her soul to the devil by the word, why don't we respond with the same dedication?
