A month has passed since the Hyakuya sect attacked the institute and Mahiru disappeared in the confusion. Kureto Hiiragi, president of the student council and main candidate to inherit the family throne, contacts Guren with very specific orders: to investigate the accident that has taken place in Ueno as a result of his rivals' experiments.
