Laila, a young Moroccan woman, comes to Terrassa with her father to study and, in time, fulfill her great dream: to become a writer. Laila tries her best and, little by little, manages to learn Spanish, make friends and excel in the classes. However, the relationship with her father is not easy, nor is living in a shared apartment, and Laila may have to make a brave adult decision that will change her life forever.
