Dear Madrid, after many years leaving the sole of my sneakers on your streets portraying your miseries and greatness, the time has come to talk about you and share your secrets and my experiences through these images. The author has portrayed in a polyhedral way some of the many faces of an effervescent Madrid, in continuous transformation. In this way, those who already know the city will be able to identify the squares, corners and traditions that appear and feel proud of it. Those who have never visited it will be able to discover it and be amazed at its cultural diversity and its urban landscapes. Turning the pages of the book reveals a modern city, buildings with futuristic shapes and avant-garde structures coexisting in harmony with the monuments of other times that are engraved in the collective memory. Traditions remain and new celebrations emerge that are gathering strength year after year, turning the city into a happy, multicultural and dynamic town. Over the years, the complexes have been removed and open to different ways of thinking and looking at the world. All this without forgetting the citizens, the essence of Madrid, who welcome visitors with open arms and hospitality. They have been infinity of kilometers since the author, alone - or rather, in the company of his camera - began to tour and portray the city.
