Josep Maria Torras Homet was one of the most prolific Catalan climbers from the generation of young people who started mountaineering at the beginning of the post-war period. His legacy is immense. But Torras didn't just go to the mountains, he made hundreds, perhaps thousands, of notes, writings, lists, statistics, sketches and maps of his activities. As a great communicator and disseminator that he was, he published many articles in magazines and newsletters of hiking organizations and collaborated on several books, but he lacked the authorship of a book. That is why the present work is offered as a tribute to his figure, which is composed of a collection of mountain stories written by Torras himself between the years 1941 and 1956 and grouped into four mountain specialties (hiking, climbing, caving and skiing) in chronological order.
