Sometimes trips bring terrifying surprises, like Kanako when she visits her grandmother, the traveler who runs into a man who gives mysterious wooden figures, or the newlyweds who arrive in a city covered in maps. Other times, it is the visitors who are scary, as happens with the Great Papyrus Circus or the supernatural student who comes from another institute. But, from time to time, the disturbing noise of a drain or some wasp nests is enough to make you shiver without having to leave your home or neighborhood.
