During the harsh winter, in a northern city, a boy runs away from home because of his stepfather's mistreatment. He finds shelter under a pipe, near the train tracks and the esplanade that leads to the forest. No one seems to feel sorry for him until some eyes look at him carefully and tenderly. Also with authority. Those eyes belong on a street dog. The boy will have to learn to survive with her and the pack of dogs that he leads from her. Although the presence of him will not be to the liking of all dogs.
