Rebelión en la granja
Orwell, George
Animal Farm is one of the most famous political fables in the history of literature (and politics). "Fable" in its most classic formulation, because it not only provides education and warning, but its protagonists are different farm animals, embodying various roles. The narrative is, in a strict sense, a critique of Stalinism, or communism, or collectivism. But, in a broader sense, a story about how the rebellions of the oppressed can end up being capitalized on by new oppressors, emerging from their own ranks and who end up implanting tyrannies that are as ferocious as or more ferocious than those overthrown. And, of course, it is also a great literary work; a classic capable of moving not only reflection, but also of providing great reading passages.
