Rápido, tu vida

Schenk, Sylvie

Louise grows up in a small town in the French Alps. Immensity, alpine flora, steep paths that lead to the peaks and secrets that drown out family conversations make up her childhood. She will soon abandon her to study in the city, but the prodigious beauty of the mountains will accompany her forever. In the 1950s, Lyon has not yet forgotten the tragedies of the Occupation. For Louise, however, everything is the beginning: the challenges of university life, the rhythm of that jazz that floods nights and bars, friendship, love... There she first meets Henri, a talented pianist unable to overcome murder of his parents who lives in a house with a library looted by the Nazis. And later to Johann, a German boy, with whom she falls in love: for him, she Louise will choose a new country, a new family, a new language. She discovers then that in other homes also secrets overshadow relationships.
