Quiénes somos ahora
Adaui, Katya
A Peruvian writer in Buenos Aires recalls the story of an accident called family. An accident that lasts for years like a badly healed wound, a question mark that rummages, questions and drains the bottom. Composed of memories finely spun at the time of intimacy, the novel is revealed as a reckoning between a woman and her parents: a filial narrative with which writing aspires to dispel forgetfulness, scatter ashes and reconsider distances. But also, as a declaration of love and mourning that does not exclude the memory of the mistreatment or the search for independence that authorizes the character to stop being a daughter.
