Quatre dies de gener

Barcelona, 1939: four days before the Franco occupation, a republican inspector will have to solve his last case... On January 22, 1939 the Government leaves Barcelona to its fate and the city is at the mercy of the troops of Franco. For four days there is total chaos under the weight of defeat, hunger and fear, while the vanquished embark on their flight into exile. In this context, Inspector Miquel Mascarell, the last policeman in Barcelona, who cannot leave because his wife is seriously ill, faces the last case of his career, that of the daughter of a prostitute, a teenager violently murdered. In these four days, on foot through the desperate city, he will look for the killer and discover that the old hidden fascists are returning home and resuming their lives, ready for revenge.
