Álex and Paula have known each other since they were children. They have shared games, punishments, chairs and the dream of growing up and leaving Villa de la Fuente. They are a refuge for each other, which manages to flourish in a town invaded by the ugly, the misfortune and the painful. They want to say a lot of things to each other, but the words are too big for them, so they record cassettes. They make plans while everyone sleeps. Someday, they promise themselves, they will start from scratch somewhere else.
