In 1890, in the Wild West, Ada is seventeen years old, about to get married, and the future is smiling on her: she loves her fiancé and loves working as an apprentice midwife. But, after a year of marriage, she does not get pregnant. Barren women are suspected of witchcraft and sentenced to hang. To survive, she will have to leave everything and start a new life. Ada joins a notorious gang of outlaws led by a charismatic, ambitious and bombastic preacher-turned-thief known as the Kid who wants to create a safe haven for outcast women. However, to make this dream come true, the gang hatches a dangerous plan and Ada will have to decide to what extent she is willing to risk her own life and that of her companions.
