Six years ago, notorious serial killer Christopher Masters murdered four women in south-west London in the dizzying time of two weeks. He was captured, but Holly Kemp, his latest victim, was never found... until now. When Holly's remains are unearthed in a Camdridgeshire field, Detective Cat Kinsella is called in on a case that's going to be easy. But questions immediately arise: why is Holly found buried so far from the other victims? And why was the way of murdering her different? Now that Masters is dead and new leads have surfaced, Cat has little to pull from except her intuition, that she's telling him the real killer is still on the loose. But if one had managed to get away with a crime, what would one not do to let the past continue to be where it belongs?
