This is a selection of the diaries that Virginia Woolf wrote throughout her adolescence until her first steps in the literary world. In them we discover the personality of the young woman who will become an inspiration for many generations to come, not only of writers, but of the entire feminist movement. Her readings, her environment, her relationships with working women, her desire to learn and improve in her literary forays are mixed with her memories, with the description of the places she visited and of the public and private events in which she participated.
