Pompeo

Pompeo is the great graphic novel by Andrea Pazienza and one of the first to be made in Europe. Despite being one of the author's capital works, it remained unpublished outside of Italy to this day. In it, Pazienza recounts the fall from grace of a heroin addict that culminates in suicide; a story with important autobiographical traces, since Pazienza himself was addicted to heroin and died, most likely, due to an overdose.
