This anthology was born with the intention of showing that lyricism and poetry are not alien to crime novels in their task of telling reality, denouncing abuses of power, corruption and injustice through fiction. Today, that same reality now imposes other urgencies. The invasion of Ukraine and the humanitarian drama of hundreds of thousands of people leads the authors and Editorial Alrevés to change, not the content, but the destiny of this book. Therefore, all the profits from Poetas del Crime. For peace they will go to UNHCR to help refugees from the conflict. This is only half of an action that each person who purchases the book completes. How far this initiative goes depends on everyone.
