Poesia completa (1940-1960)

The publication of complete poetry is essential to have at hand all the poetic work of Brossa, arranged chronologically, as today it is impossible to get much of the books published during the poet's lifetime. This edition is necessary to understand the evolution and variation of Brossian poetry, the links with the other branches of his work (theater, prose and the visual part) and the novelty of each piece in the context of his age. The public will be able to discover for the first time the magnitude and heterodoxy of Joan Brossa's poetry as a whole and the experimentation he carried out with all the means and forms at his disposal. In this way, the different faces of the Brossian pyramid will be visible and, behind the infinity of shapes and figures, the reader will see reflected the truth of a unique being, who considered himself a poet without further qualifiers.
