Plan financiero para start-ups
proceso y métricas en la práctica
Hoyos Iruarrizaga, Jon
How much money does my project need? When is it expected to be profitable? What data do I need and how to submit it? Any start-up usually faces sooner or later the need to prepare future financial projections. This task must be faced many times without having prior training in the financial area. There are spreadsheets or professionals to whom this task can be delegated, but it is of little use if it is not accompanied by a conceptual understanding of the basic foundations that govern a process of this nature. This book was born precisely with the vocation of filling that gap, proposing a practical methodology of steps, simple but rigorous, illustrated through numerous examples and cases, and fully adapted to the reality experienced by companies considered emerging. It is the result of a long process of reflection, reading, attendance at forums, meetings with entrepreneurs and, in a very special way, it is the result of experiences, concerns and realities that the author has had the opportunity to learn about first-hand in companies of recent creation. His intention has always been to carry out a task of compiling and synthesizing relevant information, ultimately materializing in a genuine roadmap with which to prepare projections that combine rigor and simplicity.
