Pilar y Margarita

The lives of the infantas Pilar and Margarita have been that of two women in search of their place. Born in exile, the first in Cannes and the second in Rome, they grew up educated in love for a country they did not know, amid the sleepless nights of a father who dreamed of returning to Spain as king. Like his entire family, they suffered the consequences of Franco's wishes, who fed don Juan's hopes in vain. When the dictator named Juan Carlos successor to the Crown, they had to act as intermediaries between his father, to whom they swore allegiance, and his brother, who needed them to popularize the image of the monarchy.
