Perras de reserva

Cerda, Dahlia de la

The heroines of Perras de reserva are strong women, determined to solve their problems on their own because they know that if they can't count on something, it's God's help. At most, they entrust themselves to the Devil, since faced with the prospect of becoming victims -used, exploited or killed- they prefer to opt for the blood of others. Like Yuliana, the macabrely endearing heir to the throne of a drug lord, who won't accept her schoolmates making fun of her looks. Or the adolescent who, before letting herself be cornered by poverty and hunger, becomes a principled street thug, who only robs good people. Or the witch who turns to the Lord of Darkness to help her with the neighbor whose dogs relieve herself in her yard.
