Mirrlees, Hope

"Paris. A Poem" represents an important milestone in the avant-garde in the English language. Published in 1920 by Hogarth Press, the mythical publisher founded and directed by Leonard and Virginia Woolf, it condensed many of the postulates of modernism (the taste for the "occult", fragmentation, character or the "mythical method", literary allusions , historical and political or formal freedom) and preceded T. S. Eliot's "The Waste Land" by almost three years. An authentic "lost jewel" of which we offer the first translation into Spanish.
