Paria

Abnett, Dan

In the city of Queen Mab, nothing is what it seems. Alizabeth Bequin has been a pariah, a spy and an agent of the Inquisition and, at the same time, nothing like that. An enigma, even to herself, she finds herself caught between Inquisitors Gregor Eisenhorn and Gideon Ravenor, former allies turned enemies, who are drawn into a veiled plot against a mysterious and deadly foe. Bequin, who is coveted by the Archenemy and pursued by the Inquisitors, finds herself involved in a dark plot of which she is unaware of both the objective and the role she plays. With the help of a disparate group of allies, she must uncover the secrets of her life and her past if she is to survive the coming battle, in which the line that separates friend from foe it's dangerously dim.
