Face of the accusation, some prosecutors have captured the media interest in famous trials such as that of the Infanta Cristina or that of the procés. But their daily activity is also carried out much more anonymously, between different prosecutors offices and between almost 2,500 prosecutors. Who are the prosecutors? How do they become? Its duties? How is the Office of the Prosecutor organized and who is in charge of it? What is its history? These and other questions are addressed by José María Mena, with the expertise and good sense of one who was a drug prosecutor and chief prosecutor of Catalonia, and one of the founders of the Democratic Justice and Progressive Union of Prosecutors.
