Papers de pau

Papers de pau is a compilation of the pacifist legacy of Arcadi Oliveres (1945-2021) that gathers much of his thinking for the construction of a more just and humane world. A selection of texts that trace a path that goes from the denunciation of war (its reasons and economic arguments, absurd expenses and hidden interests) to the necessary culture of peace, passing through all the possibilities of disarmament, the referents and peace organizations and the reflections that guide us towards global justice. Because as he taught us, there is no peace without justice. This collection shows, in all its diversity, Oliveres' enormous outreach work in the field of peace: book chapters and forewords, presentations, public letters, manifestos, talks, articles... And, apart from texts published (largely unfindable until now), provides numerous documents that are part of the fund entered in the National Archives of Catalonia in March 2021 and of his personal fund.
