Pandora al Congo
Sánchez Piñol, Albert
Marcus Garvey, imprisoned in London, may be sentenced to death. He is accused of killing two brothers, William and Richard, English aristocrats, on an expedition to find diamonds in the Congo jungle. To save Garvey, his lawyer commissions an anonymous writer to interview him in prison and write the story of what really happened in Africa, hoping the book could be useful to his defense. The story progresses in two very contrasting scenarios: on the one hand, we live the conventional English society of Mrs. Pinkerton's pension; on the other, the action takes the reader to a distant corner of the jungle, where adventurers discover, stunned, a strangely inhabited underground world.
