Oso latza izan da
Mendiguren Elizegi, Xabier
It's February 1981. Joxe Arregi from Cizurkil was arrested in Madrid and ten days later he breathed his last, as a result of the treatment he suffered. The guardians of order would like to silence the voices raised against the murder with the burial of the body, but some people have made a secret plan, to pick up that corpse from the grave, take it out of the coffin and photograph it in its horrible nakedness, in order to show the rawness of the torture to the eyes, even for those who would like to ignore it. The author has collected true events, interviewed witnesses who are still alive, built biographies of the protagonists, and created an exciting narrative, which has the elements of a journalistic chronicle but adapted with the resources of a fiction writer. Bringing the recent past to our present, returning the beat and vibration of a literary story to that part of history that has been condemned to the darkness of oblivion.
