Orgia ; Porquera ; Manifest per a un nou teatre

Pasolini, Pier Paolo

Pier Paolo Pasolini is one of the most personal and controversial creators of European culture of the second half of the twentieth century, who raised his voice to denounce the violence and spiritual impoverishment inherent in consumer capitalism. He claimed a theater of ideas, committed and poetic, in which all the weight fell on language. We present here the plays Orgia i Porquera, where we find some of the most relevant concerns that ran through his work and his life, such as the question of difference or the critique of totalitarianism, accompanied by the Manifesto for a new theater.
