Year 2015. In a Spain that is trying to leave the economic crisis behind, the Government has convened a large literary prize to encourage the work of writers as creators of wealth and ambassadors of the homeland culture. The unusual thing about the contest is that it will not be won by the most valued novel by a jury, or by critics, but rather the best-selling novel in bookstores. A purely commercial, numerical criterion, which will give rise to our protagonist and his two henchmen -with no previous experience in the world of literary creation- devise a delusional strategy to win the generous prize. A stake from which, in the end, none of the three will come out unscathed.
