Oliver Twist

The story of little Oliver, raised in a hospice, employed and abused in a funeral parlor, who escapes to London and is recruited by a gang of thieves that he does not recognize as such, is not only a superb showcase of famous Dickensian creations, but also a magnificent and fast-paced story about innocence harassed. The different protectors that the hero finds on his way reveal to us the idyllic and sentimental Dickens, and thanks to them a plot of secrets as dramatic as they are finally happy.
