Odisea
Negrete, Javier
When his fingers gripped the bow, Odysseus closed his eyes briefly and took a deep breath. Perhaps, if he and his companions succeeded, future poets would sing a song about the heroes who faced the gods. Probably those verses would mix lies and truths, as the stories that he himself had told to the beautiful Nausícaa and her father about the cave of the Cyclops, the island of the magician Circe or the descent into hell. For the combat that the seven were about to wage was not only a matter of revenge, but, above all, survival. And not only yours, but that of the entire human race. The only consolation was that if he failed, there would be no one left on the face of wide Gea to sing Odysseus' failure.
