O libro da filla

Helena Sánchez is a prestigious journalist who agrees to investigate the case of Fernando, a convicted of sexual assault on his daughter who claims to be the victim of a plot plotted by his ex-wife and wants to wash his image through this report. In the process, hidden stories will come to light that perhaps it is best not to know, moving, through research, to a reflection on the ethics of truth versus lying and on the very happiness in Helena's life. Journalistic research is, in fact, the starting point for deepening the lives and relationships of two families marked not only by the particular disorders of love, but also by the irruption of totalitarianism and the extreme right in the same subdued and subtle way in which it is introduced in society and in the politics of our time. The daughter's book is a deeply disturbing story in which the author departs from a real family abuse case to force us to look at the worst and worst of us as individuals and as a society. A novel that delves into the most miserable of the human condition through a direct and torn voice that is intimately immersed in characters with whom it is impossible not to identify.
