Nothing ever happens in the small California town where Filomena Jefferson-Cho lives. The sun rises every day, the grass is always green, and although her school says that bullying does not exist, she knows from her own experience that it is not true. But one day, on the way home from her favorite bookstore, something very strange happens. Filomena is followed by Jack the Trickster, the protagonist of "Neverland", her favorite saga. He must be dreaming... or maybe he is still reading. But Jack insists: he is real, the stories in those books are real, and Filomena has to go to him immediately! She then enters a world of fairies and princesses, warlocks, ogres and trolls, where an evil queen uses her army to eliminate the faerie tribes. To save that kingdom, Filomena has to find the truth behind the tale of "The Last Fairy" before the cycle of destruction begins again.
