Barrett Bloom hopes that college is an opportunity to start over after his difficult experience in high school. But when classes start on September 21, everything gets complicated. A boy humiliates her in physics class, her interview for the university newspaper is a disaster and, as if that were not enough, that same night, during a party, she accidentally starts a fire. Panicking, she runs to her room, but her roommate has locked the door, so she falls asleep in a common room. The next morning, to her astonishment, Ella Barrett wakes up in her bedroom, with no smell of smoke and no broken dreams. It's September 21 again. Again. And after a confrontation with Miles, the boy from physics class, she discovers that she is not the only one in this situation: he has been trapped for months. When her attempts to fix her timeline fail, Barrett agrees to work with Miles to try and find a solution. They soon find themselves exploring the mysteries behind the university and having wild and romantic adventures. As they begin to fall for each other, they must face a difficult question: what will happen to their relationship if they finally make it to tomorrow?
