Nocturnalia

Year 280 AD. Centurion Constant Barsemis, with his freed Elio Rodrigo, enters the decadent city of Tarraco to visit his sister Valentina. His brother-in-law, Mayor Julio Natal, asks him to help him solve some mysterious cases in which entire families have been cruelly massacred; cases related to a similar one that the centurion witnessed long ago in the remote city of Palmyra. Both are unaware that they are entering a death trap. Constante and his brother-in-law will investigate the terrible deaths and discover a hidden world of sorcerers and witches who devour human flesh and practice necromancy, raising the dead for their dark ends.
