Ni casa, ni curro, ni cactus

When I realized that I had just turned thirty-three, that they were not going to renew my job, that I would not be able to fulfill my dream of being an actress and that my umpteenth attempt at a stable relationship was going down the drain, I understood that my life was sinking like the Titanic (slowly but without violin music). And so, with the boat taking on water, I couldn't help but ask myself: "Is the only option I have left is to pack my wounded pride, take a BlaBlaCar to town and return to my parents' house?"
