Neorrancios

"I envy the life my parents had at my age". Underneath this allegedly critical discourse hides an idealization of a past time that has never been better. A nostalgia based on a single family model, a sublimation of the rural environment, an alienated capitalism and a denial of the social advances achieved over the last four decades. They are arguments typical of a conservative left that is frightened by the loss of its hegemony. The neo-rancid is what happens when we look at the past with the blindfold of memory and when we turn our own experience into a universal one. A book that values the present and gives guidelines on where the left should focus its demands.
