Nadie vive aquí

Nadie vive aquí

Padrosa, Jordi

Mirablaua is a town sadly known throughout the country for its carnival crimes. Thirty years ago, four children were kidnapped. Two of them were found dead, one was found wandering disoriented through a pine forest, and the fourth was never seen again, dead or alive. Diego is the cousin of the missing boy and has been in the city for a long time, immersed in what he calls "the hidden face of life", but something has gone wrong and Rubio, his boss, someone with whom it is better not to have problems, is looking for him. In fleeing from him, Diego is forced to abandon Lyuba, a prostitute extorted by El Rubio with whom he has a stormy relationship, and returns to town. Upon arrival, Diego is reunited with what he left behind in Mirablaua: his sick father and his aunt Carmen, the mother of Manuel, the missing child, who lives trapped on the day her son was missing. While the events in the city continue their course, Diego will discover that neither the crimes of the carnival nor the disappearance of his cousin occurred as narrated in the official version of events.
